Paediatric Occupational Therapist

You will play a crucial part in helping children develop the skills they need to participate in daily activities and achieve their goals.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities in children.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Provide therapy sessions that are engaging, evidence-based, and fun.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's overall development.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child's developmental needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatments, and progress.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. APHRA).
• Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of paediatric developmental disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine passion for helping children.
• Has own ABN (or willing to obtain).
• Has own professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willing to obtain).
