Machinery Supervisor (ANZSCO 149999)

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced full-time qualified Machinery Supervisor to join our dedicated team at our farm based in Diggers Rest, VIC 3427.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our farm machinery.

• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on a range of farm machinery and equipment specific to mushroom farming (e.g., compost turning equipment, climate control systems, harvesting aids).
• Operate various farm machinery and equipment as required.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees responsible for operating farm machinery.
• Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the completion of work to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all machine operations are performed correctly and in accordance with safety procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate production records and maintenance reports to identify areas for improvement.

• AQF Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven advanced technical proficiency in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of farming machinery and environmental control equipment crucial for optimal mushroom growth
