Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $180,000 - $200,000 inclusive of superannuation
Location: Office location will be determined dependent on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Head of Performance role is to lead, with overall responsibility for the direction, workflow, and quality of Biddable Implementation Planning for our agency.
The role drives process and performance, and is supported by agency operations teams to create space to operate in an elevated and future-focused manner.

- National Mindshare MDs and Client Partnership teams
- Client-side Heads of Media, Marketing, or equivalent
- All Biddable vendors, and publisher partners
- GroupM Nexus Craft Heads
- GroupM and Mindshare Commercial Directors
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
People- Collaborate closely with Mindshare ExCo and LT to shape the direction of the agency, building solves for today and influencing change for the future.
- Ensuring we have the right structure for the Nexus@Mindshare team and that we are retaining and attracting the best talent for a future fit agency.
- Set the rhythm for regular department meetings and collaborate with agency meetings.
- Openly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders and reports regularly.
- Hold regular performance evaluation meetings with reports throughout the year, setting SMART KPIs and creating a clear career development plan with them.
- Review your team's training needs to make sure their career plans are aligned to their progression. Responsible for training and development of all members of the team.
- Responsible for overseeing workflow between all members of the team and escalating any issues.
- Create and foster a cohesive team environment through agency activities and cultural moments.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure that SOX controls, SLAs and KPIs are adhered to.
- Responsible for the overall delivery of biddable investment, including leadership and development of a team that is consistently flawless in deliver & accuracy across all aspects.
- This role has a sharp focus internally, and will work daily with the Mindshare teams who service the clients
- Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives through collaboration with the Client Partners, and clients directly.
- Help build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client service
- Help to provide innovative strategic insights to the teams by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry, and competitors.
- Seek out reformist ways to keep client teams informed on relevant developments and changes to media landscape and media partners informed on agency priorities and client partnership opportunities.
- Lead internal communication of market trends, developments or any changes that will impact any buying performance.
- As required, responsible for client media audits, media negotiations and billings forecasting, working hand in hand with your key stakeholders to deliver to goals and client KPI’s.
- Supporting the Client Partners to maintain average Client Satisfaction scores of 8+ across the agency (Vantage).
- Working with all key stakeholders to define the success metrics for the department, incorporating best-in-class quality assurance approach with continual improvement.
- Serve as a leadership voice with external partners and vendors, with a strong focus on identifying and scaling innovation opportunities.
- Oversee the construction and presentation of effective, bespoke, and future fit Biddable Investment strategies for clients, both for short term and long-term growth
- Collaborate effectively with Activation leads across the agency, to ensure Investment strategies span beyond media, into content, data, and technology.
- Expertise in media planning principles (e.g. scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritisation, roles of all communication channels) and exceptional ability to utilise agency and industry tools to enhance and support planned recommendation.
- Foster a culture of innovative thinking and creativity, leveraging your senior relationships with publishers to bring local, regional and global insights and case studies to the agency to inspire client strategies.
- Lean into new Investment models, tools, services, and measurement, forming a point of view and case studies to share with the team, and the broader agency, in conjunction with the National Head of Investment.
- Play a leading role in the development and trial of new agency and group models, tools, services, and measurement.
- Develop robust and automated reporting and ways of working.
- Accurate visibility of media investment across all Biddable media.
- Benchmark cost and quality internally and collaborate with audit, Group, client, and global/regional agency partners to ensure maximum value extraction and that internal and external benchmarking can be executed effectively.
- Engage with our media partners to retain rich knowledge of the media landscape and a deep understanding of core media principles and the capabilities of each media touchpoint.
- Collaborate closely with internal product teams including GroupM proprietary product and service teams to ensure you have a robust understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients, are able to clearly articulate their benefits of their inclusion, with a focus on identifying and converting growth opportunities that can help transform client Implementation plans.
- Generate a positive trajectory for Media Partner NPS (Mediai)
- Deliver a well-informed POV in every meeting, providing innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert in your craft.
- Seek to find, communicate, and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.
- Be a Mindshare spokesperson on industry subjects with a strong profile and positive reputation and personality in the market. Be a positive face of Mindshare at industry events.
- Build the agency’s reputation and distinct agency proposition via the contribution of thought leadership across Mindshare owned assets (Website, Social, EDM’s etc.) and via the submission into relevant industry awards for great client work and great professional achievement.
- Support the National Head of Investment and the Mindshare SLT on new business pitches.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to identify, collate, and showcase examples of great work from within the agency, both internally and externally.
- Contribute to achieving the Mindshare key measures of success nationally by delivering annual Net Sales & Operating Margin objectives.
- Share relevant and insightful commentary internally, for the broader agency.
