Fitter Machinist

We are seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our clients growing team on Brisbane’s Northside - Immediate starts on offer!!

• Planning and execution of preventative and breakdown maintenance to improve reliability of equipment
• Maintaining, servicing and troubleshooting failures of plant machinery and equipment
• Fabrication and machining work as required
• Proactively contribute to new installations and projects

• Maintenance Fitter Trade qualification or similar trade with maintenance fitting experience
• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Exposure to work permit systems and lock out, tag out procedures
• Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures
• Previous experience working in a similar role - manufacturing and/or plastics industry highly regarded
• Experience in troubleshooting and automation
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and understand clear direction with a team approach
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Restricted electrical licence an advantage
