About Our Client
As the Communication and Education Manager you will work in the Public Sector for one of Australia's leading departments.
Job Description- Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor and key business partner, leading a team of eight, including two senior leaders specialising in communications and digital efforts. Prioritise coaching, team culture, and continuous improvement.
- Team Integration: Oversee the transition of the events team into our rental law changes team, focusing on community impact and engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the new stakeholder engagement team to support their establishment and ensure seamless integration with ongoing communications and engagement activities.
- Innovative Communications: Drive new and innovative initiatives in the communications and digital education space, focusing on enhancing our educational programs and communication strategies.
- Digital Transformation: Partner with the Portfolio Communications Manager to support major digital transformation projects and rental law changes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and documentation.
- Identity Redefinition: Help redefine the team's role and identity within the organisation, including developing the 2025 communications and education plan.
- Progressive Culture: Foster a supportive and progressive communications culture, guided by leadership from the CEO and CPO, and embrace a diverse team.
- Internal/Corporate/Executive Communications: Develop and manage strategies for internal, corporate, and executive communications.
- Media Relations: Enhance our media presence and focus on compliance and enforcement through strategic media relations.
- Digital Communications & Engagement: Oversee digital communication channels including website, intranet, and social media, and help set up governance structures in collaboration with other teams.
- Business Partnership: Act as a key business partner in digital transformation efforts, advocating for best practices and ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Demonstrated experience in communications and educational leadership.
- Strong team management skills with a focus on coaching and continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration abilities with a track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Innovative approach to communications and education, with experience driving digital transformation.
