As we continue to grow and make an impact, we are looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team and work across portfolios spanning faith, health, community services, funerals, social housing, property, finance, legal and human resources.

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organisation by attracting and securing top talent. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process.

This is a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, based in Blackburn.
Salary and conditions of employment within annualised salary range of $80,000 per annum + Super and NFP salary packaging benefits.
You will successfully
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding HR legislation, TSA policy, and recruitment processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Business Partners and HR Managers nationally to ensure the delivery of consistent HR support that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Multi-task and professional manage concurrently upwards of 75 requisitions at any given time.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and advise on recruitment best practices.
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection, including screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Work collaboratively and participate in HR projects and HR initiatives for the maintenance and enhancement of organisational HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Act in the capacity of subject matter expert in relation to Workday recruitment processes.
  • Manage end to end process in Workday whilst maintaining Workday Data integrity as part of transition process.
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
  • Utilise various channels and techniques to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Champion candidate experience. Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and talent market conditions to provide insights and recommendations through market research.
  • Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.

What we're looking for - Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
  • A degree qualification in HR
  • National Police Check
Required Experience
  • Significant experience in talent acquisition specifically in a national, faith-based organisation, health or community services setting.
  • Knowledge of the doctrine and tenets of The Salvation Army highly regarded
  • Demonstrate experience with recruitment software and tools, and a strong understanding of social media and other sourcing methods. Workday, Vid Cruiter, Service Now, Linkedin Recruiter and Seek Talent required.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite programs and capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
