Sales Operations Lead, APJ, Sales Strategy & Operations - Amazon

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Sales Operations Lead, driving sales reporting, forecasting, and analysis to provide the Sales and Delivery team with valuable insights and recommendations to fuel business growth. Reporting to the APJ Sales Operations Manager, you will partner closely with regional sales leaders and their teams to deliver T&C sales operations.As a trusted business partner, you will deliver pipeline and forecast reporting/analysis, Salesforce support, sales coverage management, and the rollout of sales ops programs across the APJ region.
Collaborating with the operations team, you will develop, implement, and manage the business processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize sales operations to meet organizational goals. Leveraging AWS's strong data-driven culture, you will provide timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence to drive significant business value.We're seeking a hands-on, self-motivated problem-solver who is passionate about using data to influence decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing improvements to sales operations services through creation of self-service, automated, and AI-driven sales management tools.
They will also have experience creating monthly and quarterly business review documents, analyzing key metrics, trends, and insights for senior leadership, and a track record of supporting regional sales leaders with forecasting, pipeline management, Salesforce, and other sales operations queries.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and monitoring sales productivity/efficiency metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools, with the ability to identify reporting issues and process gaps, and to drive timely resolutions.
You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at communicating complex results clearly, both written and verbally. Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment are also highly regarded.
Key job responsibilities- Partner with regional sales leaders to deliver forecasts, plans, and goals
- Partner with APJ and Global Sales Ops to provide support to Region sellers and Sales Leaders for coverage, attainment and other sales-related queries
- Support Region Sales Leaders with Salesforce, and build dashboards to provide live reporting
- Provide sales reporting and analysis to drive strategic/operational priorities
- Create monthly/quarterly business review documents
- Support and enable the sales leadership in forecasting, pipeline management, and Salesforce hygiene management, including development of new mechanisms for Sales Ops self-service, automation and simplification, reporting for sales effectiveness and productivity, sales team metrics reviews, pipeline management, business development plans and tracking
- Work with region teams to create a cadence and culture of performance management against monthly and annual targets. Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and tools to improve sales productivity
- Suggest systems/processes to support rapid business growth
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate in projects as needed

- 5+ years sales operations experience in a high growth multinational IT, Cloud or SaaS company
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and data visualization (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau)
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to organize data in a way that is understood and can lead to improved decision making
- Highly developed project management skills
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Demonstrated success in a similar sales operations role
- Strong accountability and problem solving capability
