SUMMARY
The position of Electrical Engineering Technician is full-time, our projects are in Sydney and regional New South Wales. You will provide assistance to electrical engineers and installation teams in site inspections, design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical lifts.
The position requires experience in the lift industry and familiarity with a range of elevator systems and equipment.Our Electrical Engineering Technician must be enthusiastic, energetic, able to work with the installation team and have excellent communication skills.
DUTIES- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, specifications, designs, layout of electrical systems, cabling systems and motor control systems
- Provide technical support to electrical engineers and project teams
- Inspect for compliance with specifications and regulations
- Testing and commissioning of electrical systems, programming of variable frequency drive
- Perform diagnostic tests, calculations, and fault-finding on electrical systems, monitor compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Assist teams to assemble, instal, calibrate and modernise electrical lift systems
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- A minimum of 1 year relevant industry experience
- Experience in the lift industry and familiarity with a range of elevator systems and equipment.
- Technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
