A global leader in sugar alternatives is expanding in Australia. As part of this growth, our FMCG client is looking for an Order Management Specialist to act as the main point of contact for all local clients (grocery and food service). This role will play a crucial part in the local supply team, directly supporting the Supply Chain Manager.

Job Description

The Supply Chain Order Management Specialist key responsibilities are the following:

• Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring smooth administrative and logistical follow-up.
• Handle customer complaints and disputes professionally and efficiently.
• Manage purchase orders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to deadlines.
• Monitor stock levels and manage procurement processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and management tools.
• Report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Supply Chain Order Management Specialist will be:

• Main point of contact for all local clients (grocery and food service).
• Skilled in handling customer disputes with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in stock management systems.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and autonomous.
• Proficient in administrative tools and familiar with order management procedures.
• Experience with an information system (e.g., SAP, Dynamics).
• Excel skills.
• Experience working in an FMCG/Retail and Supply Chain environment.
• Postgraduate 1 year experience in a similar role.

• Hybrid work schedule (2 days remote, 3 days on site in Macquarie park)
