The Canning Vale office is a small (9 people) team that enjoys their work and is looking for someone who will enjoy working with them. This is a varied role, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, that supports the warehouse / logistics / procurement / production areas and related minor warehouse administration tasks.
The role allows you to be involved in all aspects of the business while undertaking a variety of tasks including:- Checking accuracy of deliveries to customers
- Helping to minimise errors in picking, packing and loading
- Assisting with the daily logistics
- Following instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor
- Reporting mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies immediately
- Ensuring all stock is located in the correct place
- Supporting tight timescales and given deadlines
- Maintaining high level of health & safety standards
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with communicating incoming and outgoing deliveries, delays, logistic issues.
- Prefabricating and cutting of material according to drawings
- Cleaning tools and tidying up the warehouse settings
- Checking deliveries accurately: Quality Checks for Goods in and Goods out
- Using the Computerised System for small standard processes in the warehouse
- Offloading and unpacking goods
- Good metric and numerical skills
- Good metric and numerical understanding
- Positive work attitude
- Have an understanding of or exposure to a warehouse environment
- Understanding standard processes like Goods In and Goods Out
- Working productively, efficiently, effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales
- Good team worker and communicator. (Reading, Writing and Speaking in English)
- Able to work physically and hard
- Able to follow instructions
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure and to tight timescales
- Bright and positive with a keen eye for detail
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn

- Previous experience of working within a warehouse and steel fabrication environment

Work Conditions.- Permanent / Full time (Monday - Friday, 38hrs/week)
