PDHS Wholesale Supplies (Formally Port Douglas Hospitality Supplies) is looking for a motivated Delivery Driver to join our expanding team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing Business to Business deliveries to Port Douglas, Cairns, Northern Beaches, Mossman and Daintree areas.
You willwork closely with our sales team and Store Person to ensure the smooth flow of goods.

This is a Full-Time permanent position with immediate start for the right person.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Organising and planning of delivery runs to ensure efficient delivery
- Pick/Pack orders accurately for dispatch
- Ensuring correct delivery paperwork is completed
- Loading of delivery vehicles
- Delivering goods accurately to customers in the Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree & Cairns regions
- Unloading pallets from inward transport companies
- Maintain inventory control procedures and adhering to delivery processes
- Collecting products from suppliers
- Adhering to day-to-day warehouse procedures for incoming/outgoing goods
- Ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Inspection of goods received for any damage or discrepancies
- Stock organisation/rotating stock
- Daily safety inspections and operation of Forklift
- Assisting in stocktaking procedures
- Actively participate in meetings, training
- You must be physically fit and able to undertake lifting of up to 20kg.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong levels of reliability and punctuality
- Ability to think on your feet, use initiative & be enthusiastic and motivated
- Previous experience working as a driver desirable however not essential
- The ability to plan your own workload and work unsupervised
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of safe working practices including safe lifting
- Current Driver’s Licence (preferably manual)
- Forklift Licence / Experience desirable however not mandatory
