Coffee Machine Technician

One of the leaders in commercial coffee facilities / machines, are now seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. This is an on the road position, requiring some overnight stays (all costs covered by employer) , and requires a person with at least 2 years experience in an on the road techncian role.

• Executive service orders as received by the central planning team.
• Perform Installation and commissioning of coffee machines.
• Perform operator training on the coffee machine and attachments.
• Prepare coffee recipes and machine programming.
• Perform Planned Maintenance on coffee machines.
• Perform Reactive Maintenance.
• Prepare technical reports (customer service report) for each service order.
• Provide recommendations for product improvement.
• Provide clear feedback to customer on reason for service visit.
• Participates after-hours on-call roster.
• Supports sales where required on technical topics.
• Participation in training, conferences, and trade fairs.

• Minimum 2-3 years in similar role.
• Skills in hydraulic, mechanics and electronics.
• Willingness to travel several days at a time without returning home.
• Customer orientated and good communication skills.
• General knowledge of standard computer programs.
