Restaurant Manager or Retail Manager (General)

FULL TIME 38 HOURS PER WEEK

MINIMUM 4 WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE

SALARY PLUS SUPER

$70K PA - $80K PA

The menu is inspired by international flavours and features chargrilled items, classic comfort food and pan to plate meals. Tucked away under the golf club, Sweet Spot Cafe looks out over the rolling green offering light meals and barista coffee.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.

• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
• Planning and organising special functions
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean functional and of suitable appearance
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Service recovery
• Creating service standard templates and standard operating procedures
• Controlling, selecting, training and supervising staff
• Taking reservations
• Meet, great and seat guests
• Assist in taking orders
• Assist with staff hiring and training
• Assist with planning menus and special dietary requirements for guests
• Discuss customer requirements with the culinary team, determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
• Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
• Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
