Truck Driver

Location: Holmview, QLD

• Safely operating HC and MC Trucks, including tippers and refrigerated prime movers, for local and Interstate deliveries.
• Precisely maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading at various commercial and construction sites.
• Using lifting and tipping mechanisms for efficient loading and unloading of construction materials, and Loading and Unloading refrigerated goods using Pallet Jacks.
• Conducting Pre-Start vehicle inspections and regular checks to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensuring accurate weight estimation and proper load distribution to comply with legal mass limit and safety regulations.
• Securing and covering goods to prevent spillage, damage, or loss during transit. Must have good knowledge of Load Restraint.
• Reviewing and verifying loading Weighbridge Dockets, Filling Docket books Properly checking condition of goods, and obtaining signatures of deliveries (POD).
• Adhering strictly to Fatigue management and Road transport laws.
• Maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Communicating effectively on Radio and with dispatchers, clients, and team members to provide timely updates on route progress and delivery schedules.
• Assisting in yard operations when required, including managing dump-back materials and contributing to safe traffic flow within the premises.

• Minimum 1 year of proven Tipper truck and Dog Driver experience or Interstate B Double Experience, preferably in both refrigerated and tipper operations.
• Must have HC (Heavy Combination) and MC (Multi Combination) License, White Card or DG Ticket and BFM will be an advantage but not essential.
• Must Have Full Time work Rights, Medical, Traffic History for last 3 years.
• AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations or relevant 2 years of experience in HC driving.

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation
