Telecommunication Technician - Melbourne

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Technician to join our team and play a vital role in delivering efficient and high-performing network solutions.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a Telecommunications Technician with strong expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, network cabling, system installation, and fault diagnosis. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing telecom systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Employment Type: Full-Time

• Install, configure, and test network cabling, fiber optics, modems, and telecommunications hardware.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, fault analysis, and repairs to ensure optimal network performance.
• Identify and resolve connectivity issues, network failures, and technical malfunctions.
• Perform software updates, equipment upgrades, and network enhancements as required.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Maintain and manage telecommunications tools, testing equipment, and installation devices.
• Provide professional on-site and remote support, assisting clients with telecom-related inquiries and concerns.

• Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Telecom Technician in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optics, structured cabling, wireless networks, and telecommunications systems.
• Experience with network diagnostics, VoIP systems, and data transmission.
• Proficiency in using telecom testing tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
