The role
The Internal Operational Communications Officer plays a vital role in supporting our frontline teams to do their best work. Fostering a culture of excellence within our high-performing team (Internal Operational Communications), this role assists the Senior Manager, Operational & Engagement Communications to manage effective operational and divisional communications across Sales & Service and Claims & Assessing teams.Your excellent writing skills and ability to manage fast-paced and ever-evolving projects will help the team manage our frontline knowledge systems and support better connections across our business. With a strong focus on collaboration and a commitment to driving our culture forward, this role is essential to making our communications informative, inspiring and engaging, helping our customer-facing teams to achieve their best.

Your day-to-day
You’ll:
- Drive effective, timely and accurate communications for frontline teams, incorporating strategic business messaging and critical divisional updates - the right message, at the right time, in the right channel!
- Support delivery of communication and engagement plans to help embed important changes, support operating rhythms and drive connection for our contact centre teams.
- Draft operational alerts (Red, Orange and Green), leader briefs, divisional and leader updates, and newsletters.
- Assist with content creation for internal platforms.
- Share insights and analytics with internal stakeholders
- always with a continuous improvement lens
- and contribute to our monthly reporting.
- Triage, review and update scripting and procedures for our contact centre teams, ensuring information is accurate and always compliant.
- Assist with quality assurance audits to ensure knowledge management administrators are adhering to the governance framework.
- Take all reasonable directions to comply with A&G’s workplace health & safety (WHS) and risk management protocols.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to learn new, complex systems and tools quickly
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, time management, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Skills and experience in graphic design are advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with video creation and editing software is desirable.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential.

This role is available at either our North Lakes or Sunshine Coast locations. Travel between sites will be required to ensure strong connections with our stakeholders and team members.Our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side’s best retail locations.
