CEM’s national office is located on the Central Coast of NSW (Erina) and we are always on the lookout for individuals who are passionate about Christian Education and have relevant skills and experience to add value to our growing team.

About the role

An opportunity exists to work in the Business Development Team who are passionate about identifying new and existing opportunities to help support and grow our schools, as well as welcoming new schools to our group, to help them reach their full potential.

Key Job Functions
  • Identifying and researching new opportunities as they arise
  • Preparing grant applications and supporting documentation
  • Supporting the implementation of systems and processes to achieve their full potential
  • Assisting in the integration of new schools joining the CEM group
  • Enhancing existing CEM Schools through project-based improvement work
  • Supporting other projects and programs within CEM to run effectively and efficiently
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Business Development

This full-time position reports to the Head of Business Development and is to start as soon as is practicable.

The salary for this position is commensurate with relevant education, skills, and experience.

Requirements

About you
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or demonstrated equivalent industry/professional experience (preferred)
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with school staff and leaders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders throughout the organisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident in using cloud-based applications and familiar with modern technology.
  • Ability to maintain an energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic work ethic.
  • Possess, or would be successful in obtaining, a Working with Children Check.
  • Servant heart, vibrant Christian faith, and are actively involved in your local church.
