Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Founded in Perth in 1991, Bus & Coach International (BCI) is a leading Australian bus manufacturer, supported by a national dealership and service network. To support our growing operations, we are looking for qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics in Brisbane, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical components of buses and heavy vehicles.
• Performing scheduled maintenance to ensure operational safety and performance.
• Diagnosing faults in engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering and hydraulic systems.
• Overhauling mechanical components including engines and drivetrains.
• Conducting system tests and making adjustments for optimal performance.
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology is preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
