The team behind TEG’s commercial department are responsible for connecting people and brands to the power of live entertainment by creating unforgettable hospitality and unique experiences. The Role
The Partnership and Event Coordinator is a hybrid role on the commercial team that will support the Partnership and Event Manager, to manage the delivery of live events and partnerships across music, sport, and entertainment. The role is perfect for someone who is eager to build business relationships and get hands on with event delivery.
We welcome applications from candidates based in both Melbourne and Sydney, offering flexibility in location for the right candidate.
Requirements
What does a day in the life look like?
Event Delivery:
- Supporting management with end-to-end delivery for our portfolio of VIP and Corporate Hospitality events. This includes overall project management, pre-event planning, event operations, program implementation, onsite management, and post event reconciliation.
- Operate with a passion for events and in-depth understanding of how events. engagement drives business strategy and supports business objectives.
- General administration required to satisfy event needs.
- Deliver assigned events on time, within budget, that meet internal/external expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, suppliers and nurture these relationships.
- Assisting and liaising with casual staff for events and management of onsite staff at events.
- Work both autonomously and within a team to bump in and bump out events and to oversee and run events on site.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with customer service communications in a professional and courteous manner.
Partnerships Delivery:
- Day-to-day client communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to corporate partners.
- Assisting with the fulfillment of partnership benefits and obligations.
- General administration required to satisfy partnership needs.
Other key considerations for this position
Due to the nature of this role, work is required outside of business hours and on the weekend.
About You
In addition to the above, your skillset and attributes should also include:
- 1-3 years’ experience in the live event industry.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management or similar (not essential but desired).
- Hold a current driving license
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experienced in Canva (not essential but desired)
- Self-starter who takes initiative and prioritizes.
- Demonstrates exceptional project management, organization and planning skills applied in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- High level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality
