Storeperson

Join our bustling roadhouse team as a Storeperson! We're seeking an organised and customer-oriented individual to manage our retail inventory and support our front-of-house operations.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

• Manage and organise retail inventory in our convenience store
• Receive, unpack, and display new merchandise efficiently
• Maintain accurate stock records using our point-of-sale (POS) system
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
• Assist with pricing and labelling of products
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are attractively displayed
• Assist customers with finding products and answering queries
• Collaborate with the retail supervisor to identify fast-moving items and recommend reorder quantities
• Assist with retail sales during peak times
• Maintain a clean and organised store area, adhering to health and safety standards

• Previous experience in retail inventory management or as a retail assistant
• Proficiency in using POS systems and inventory management software
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 15kg) regularly
• Attention to detail in stock management and product presentation
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciliation
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of retail merchandising techniques (desirable)
