Job Description- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Partner with supply chain to manage inventory performance and optimize stock levels.
- Oversee inventory-related balance sheet accounts (stock on hand, in transit, obsolete, clearing) and drive accuracy, including Days of Inventory (DOI) analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to track key performance indicators.
- Provide insights on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
- Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful FP&A Analyst should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles within the FMCG/retail industry.
- Strong skills in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
- An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
