Heavy Diesel Fitters

HAS Earthmoving is seeking for an experienced and competent Truck Mechanics or Heavy-Duty Fitters for a diversified company to be based in our Maddington workshop.

As a Truck / Diesel Mechanic for our company, you will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs including:

• Light Vehicles, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford etc.
• Tippers Volvo, UD, Hino to name a few.
• Tray Tops, Water trucks & Prime Mover trucks, trailers and floats.

• To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
• A Trade Qualification as a Qualified Mechanic (Australian Trade Recognised) – highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Proficient in maintain complex mechanical systems.
• Proficient with Trucks and trailers.
• Capacity to utilize computerized maintenance systems (CAT SIS etc).
• Available to work Monday to Friday (some Saturdays may be required).
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Parts ordering and workshop maintaining compliance.
• Ability to “own” the workshop and responsibilities.
• HR Lic would be preferable for testing purposes.
• Ability to perform diagnostic and fault-finding tasks.
• Hydraulic repairs and modifications.

Salary range: $38 to $40 per hour
