Our client, Mobile Market Australasia Pty Ltd operates several Optus branded retail stores across NSW, providing clients with easy access to high-quality telecommunications products and services. The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead its Stanhope Gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and driving sales growth.This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and manage a team, maintain store standards, and achieve business objectives.
As the Retail Manager, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing store policies and procedures, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring the store meets its financial goals. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, mentoring staff, and providing ongoing training and development to ensure your team has the skills and knowledge to succeed.Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs will be essential in driving the store's success and maintaining its competitive edge.
Minimum Requirements:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field and 3+ years' experience in a mobile store or similar role
In this role your main responsibilities include:- Lead and manage complete store operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail staff to ensure high performance
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints promptly
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Implement and oversee visual merchandising standards
- Drive sales and profitability through effective planning and goal setting
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to keep staff informed and motivated
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Undertake budgeting activity and devise strategy with owner
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar role within the telecommunications or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for technology and telecommunications.
- A daily focus on ‘drive the sales, lift the KPIs and customer centricity
