About Our Client

This role is with a reputable, medium-sized organisation that specialises in the life science industry.

• Work in Clayton but be willing to travel to 3PL operations in Tullamarine
• Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in procurement processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
• Manage strategic relationship with 3PL provider.
• Oversee import/export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Utilize SAP MM and SD for inventory control and order management.
• Ensure accurate handling and classification of dangerous goods.
• Monitor 3PL performance and drive service improvements.
• Liaise with internal teams on stock levels, replenishment, and delivery timelines.
• Interpret and apply technical inventory terminology across systems and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and cost efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 3PL Manager should have:

• Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing 3PL relationships in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors
• Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive products
• Expertise in SAP MM and SD modules for inventory and order management
• Familiarity with dangerous goods classifications and handling protocols
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation requirements
• Ability to interpret technical inventory terminology and logistics data
• Track record of ensuring compliance with healthcare and TGA standards
