The opportunity:

Delaware North Australia is hiring a part-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team across Little Lygon and Rustica venues at Melbourne Airport.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll support daily restaurant and bar operations, coaching and guiding team members to deliver exceptional food and beverage service. You’ll lead by example, championing service excellence and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

What you will do?:

  • Supervise and support a diverse team across shifts to ensure service excellence
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for professionalism and customer care
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee and cocktails, showcasing your barista or bartending skills
  • Assist in maintaining and setting up the bar, dining and service areas
  • Manage food and beverage operations to meet financial goals and drive business growth
  • Mobilise, train and develop team members to perform at their best
  • Oversee inventory, stock control and ordering processes
  • Implement upselling and promotional initiatives to boost revenue
  • Adhere to compliance and hygiene requirements

More about you:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume hospitality venue
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and Food Safety Certificate
  • Skilled in bar operations, including barista preparation experience, preferred
  • Passionate about hospitality, with a customer-first mindset and energetic approach
  • Skilled in workforce mobilisation and team development
  • Comfortable with labour controls and food cost management, desirable
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
