Responsibilities:

Perform health checks on SQL Server instances to ensure reliability and resolve issues.
Carry out database maintenance tasks, including index rebuilds, statistics updates, and patching.
Manage SQL Server environments for peak performance and efficiency.
Optimize database operations through proactive monitoring and tuning.
Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
Ensure database security with effective access controls and audit logging.
Support advanced features such as clustering and replication to ensure high availability.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Proven expertise as a SQL DBA in complex technical environments.
Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
