The opportunity

The Audit Manager - Cyber Security role will be pivotal in leading cyber security and technology audits to provide assurance that key cyber security and technology controls are designed and operating effectively and key risks are being managed appropriately.

You will also be responsible for reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders, and upskilling team members in auditing Cyber Security.

This role is based at our Head Office in Norwest Business Park, Bella Vista.

What you’ll do
  • Audit Management: Oversee the Rolling Audit Plan and Board Reporting; lead and execute cyber security and technology audits; review findings and management action plans; and handle audit deliverables and follow-ups.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to audit processes; stay updated on cyber security trends and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with management and risk teams; build relationships with Cyber Security and Technology leaders; manage stakeholder interactions.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage junior auditors; ensure staff efficiency; support recruitment and team development.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify adherence to audit methodology; perform quality checks on audit deliverables.
  • Audit Reporting: Prepare and support quarterly Audit & Finance Committee (AFC) reports; track and report on open audit issues.
What you’ll bring
  • Minimum 7+ years in cyber security audit or related field, with at least 3 years in a manager role.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Technology Risk and Cyber Security, with experience in auditing cyber security frameworks and operations.
  • IT and/or Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP) are desirable; strong knowledge of cyber security principles and governance frameworks required.
  • Previous managerial or above-level experience
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver results under pressure
