An Australian fintech organisation undergoing rapid growth is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior .NET Engineer to join their engineering team. The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying new features using .NET, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, and Azure. You will also be involved in exciting transformation projects such as migrating to Azure, deploying with Bicep, optimizing DevOps pipelines, and modernizing the tech stack with the newest Angular and .NET frameworks. You'll have opportunities to grow your technical expertise, expand your leadership skills, and deepen your financial industry knowledge.
Please note that this hybrid role requires 3 days in the Melbourne CBD office.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate business requirements and assist in prioritizing and executing development tasks.
- Collaborate with both Business and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
- Contribute to technical projects and platform upgrades.
- Develop technical specifications, create architecture designs, and implement innovative software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code using .NET, TypeScript, and frameworks like XUnit/NUnit.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for .NET and Angular applications.
- Optimize and review code and designs for performance enhancements.
- Provide mentorship and support for developers, including offshore teams, to overcome obstacles.
Your Profile
Essential Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft .NET Stack, SQL Server, and TSQL.
- Solid experience working with TypeScript and Angular.
- Demonstrated success in working within Agile team environments.
- Proven ability to contribute to tech transformations from legacy stacks to modern technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Desirable Skills:
- Background in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience migrating AngularJS applications to the latest Angular frameworks.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices.
