The PositionsQualified Specialist Consultant Physicians are sought for short and long-term contract locum placements in rural, regional, outer metro and metropolitan areas in several States of Australia in the following fields:
General PhysiciansCardiologists
Respiratory Physicians
Endocrinologists
Gastroenterologists
Infectious Diseases Physicians
Renal Physicians
Neurologists
Oncologists
The locum positions are typically available at larger hospitals across Australia where there are short or long-term vacancies for medical specialists. The level of registrar support available varies with each facility.As well as ongoing continuous roles, there are shorter term vacancies from 1-4 weeks and forward roster periods available of approximately 5 to 14 days per month on a fly-in, fly-out basis. Specialist Physicians usually participate in an on-call roster.

Essential Criteria
Applicants must be registered as medical specialists with the Medical Board of Australia/AHPRA, be eligible for credentialling in their specialist discipline, hold CPD certificates of currency from their specialist Medical College and medical indemnity insurance.
