Welder/Fabricator

Quality Builders is a well-established privately owned Building Company, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Perth specializing in Commercial & Residential Transportable Modular Builds.

An excellent job opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated team player to join our company.

The position is 38 hrs. per week with some overtime on offer, and long-term opportunities for the right personnel.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• General fabrication of steel wall frames & steel trusses
• Welding of fabricated parts using an MIG Welder
• Ability to read/interpret structural drawings
• Repetitive work on a production line
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

This position will suit candidates who meets the below criteria:

• Min 3 years’ experience in fabrication of steel stud wall framing and trusses (preferred)
• Trade Qualified
• White Card (eligible to apply)
• Forklift ticket (preferred)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Punctual, Reliable and Trustworthy
• Be able to follow and carry out instructions cooperatively and accurately
• Have a can-do attitude and want to learn
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Focused on safety
• Current driver’s license and transport (preferred)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 a year (commensurate to skills and experience)
