Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + Guaranteed Superannuation
About the position:
You have exceptional software development skills with a minimum bachelor’s degree in IT and a minimum of 1 year of relevant working and project experience. You have excellent communication skills to interact with stake holders at all levels and the ability to learn and adopt new methodologies, tools, and technologies.
ICT Business Analyst is responsible for managing initiatives from conception through to implementation that supports strategic vision and priorities. This encompasses the analysis, design, development, testing, and delivery of key enterprise solutions.
Task and Responsibilities:
- Documenting and communicating IT business requirements.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross functional team members and management.
- Taking accountability for the deployment of effective solutions, including the formulation, adoption, and execution of system test plans, with the aim of guaranteeing a system's quality and integrity that meet acceptable standards.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Leading requirement workshops – presenting and managing communications, managing impact assessments.
- Writing detailed technical design documentation with the thorough process and workflows.
- Working closely with delivery teams to ensure effective consulting, communications, and delivery.
- Creating functional specifications to guide system developers in their work.
- Prioritising initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrate experience coordinating and leading consultation with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, capture and document (high level and detailed) business processes, requirements, rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and proven ability to work independently, show the initiative, deal with multiple users, concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities and resolve queries quickly and effectively.
- Proven exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications/Education: Relevant bachelor IT degree or higher qualification
Experience/ Knowledge- At least 1 year of relevant experience as ICT Business Analyst
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingual preferred for dealing with our suppliers)
