About the role
Now we urgently need a disability support worker who can provide service in Vermont VIC on Every Thursday & Friday from 15:30 to 17:30.

Tasks and responsibilities of a disability support worker includes:
We are looking to recruit someone who is motivated to provide a range of flexible supports to people with a disability. We are seeking someone who is experienced and passionate and have a positive attitude to support individuals in leading a more independent and fulfilled life.
You will have the ability to assist people with:
Personal careCommunity engagement
Domestic assistance
Learning support
Ideally you will have:
Experience assisting individuals with disabilityProven ability to work positively with people with a disability to achieve their goals
Experience with behaviour management and Intervention
Ability to follow and implement individual program plans
Demonstrated ability to implement a person-centred approach
Excellent documentation skills particularly case reports, progress summaries and incident reporting
Ability to work flexible hours including morning, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, proactive and confident in working with people with disabilities
Current or willing to obtain:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Current CPR & First Aid, Working With Children Check (Paid)NDIS Screening Check
Police Check issued within the last 6 months
Comprehensively insured car & valid Victorian driver's license
