Due to growth, they are seeking to hire a National Account Manager to oversee their retail business.Additionally, there are numerous opportunities in the automotive and consumer electronics sectors. Job Description- Identify and research new and existing customers across Australia.
- Set up promotions with retailers to increase product exposure and sales volume.
- Review and optimise retail product ranges in collaboration with the Country Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Negotiate and finalise business deals with buyers, planners, and category managers from leading retailers to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.
- Identify and secure business opportunities, focusing on innovative applications of the products.
- Collaborate with the Country Manager, Global management, and Marketing Manager to design and market new retail product ranges.
- Manage and grow consumer retail markets, constantly seeking to generate new business.
- Proven track record in account management, adept at cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities, or pursuing a career switch as a Buyer/Category Manager, with experience working for large Australian retailers.
- Deep understanding of the consumer retail industry, with experience selling to buyers, category managers, and planners.
- Skilled in negotiating and closing projects with headquarters and stores, including successful range reviews and promotions.
- Experience in distribution management is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrates key soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
- Residing in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with full working rights.
