DUTIES- Oversees daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
- Manages staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Controls inventory, orders supplies, and maintains optimal stock levels.
- Develops and implements menus, promotions, and marketing strategies.
- Maintains high standards of customer service, resolving complaints and feedback.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintains cleanliness.
- Analyzes sales, revenue, and expenses to optimize profitability.
- Manages budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Coordinates events, parties, and catering services.
- Opens and closes the restaurant, ensuring security and safety.
- Supervises front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Handles customer complaints and feedback.
- Monitors food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manages reservations, waitlists, and table assignments.
- Coordinates maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Enforces company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conducts staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Maintains records, reports, and documentation.
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activity.
- Scheduling and payroll management.
- Inventory management and ordering.
- Budgeting and financial analysis.
- Marketing and promotional planning.
- Employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Compliance with labor laws, regulations, and certifications.
- Maintaining customer database and loyalty programs.
- Reviewing and responding to online reviews.
- Managing social media presence.
- Attending management meetings and conferences.
- Developing and implementing business strategies.
- Setting sales and revenue targets.
- Building and maintaining a strong team culture.
- Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g., marketing, HR).
- Representing the restaurant in the community.
- Ensuring adherence to company values and mission.
- Developing and implementing quality control processes.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
- Identifying and mitigating risks.
- Recognized qualification.
- 2+ years as a restaurant manager in a full-service restaurant.
- Experience in planning and creating menus liaising with chefs
- Experience in budgeting and organizing functions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment sanitation standard.
- Must be available to start straight away.
