Terminal Operator

About our client

Our client manages a state-of-the-art export terminal equipped with advanced storage and handling capabilities for various bulk products.

What you'll do:

• Complete tasks across the terminal as needed based on operational requirements, such as cleaning and shovelling. Additionally, operate plant equipment when necessary, including sampling, compacting, and unloading trucks.
• Rotate through day, afternoon, and night shifts due to the terminal's continuous 24-hour operation.
• Initial month's work will primarily be on day shift for training purposes

What you'll need:

• Current valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Physical copy of your Construction Induction White/Blue Card.
• Possession of a Front End Loader or LF ticket is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work shifts including day, afternoon, and night as per roster requirements.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent physical condition, capable of lifting 20kg, walking for extended periods, and performing tasks like shovelling and sweeping.
• Comfortable working in dusty environments.
• While not essential, licenses or certifications in Forklift operation, Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, or Front End Loader are advantageous.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
