Senior Analyst - Transfer Pricing

Amazon is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Transfer Pricing team in Australia to support the Amazon Web Services business across the Asia Pacific region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

End-to-end development, implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies, including:

  • Supporting business launches and restructurings, developing new TP policies, financial modelling and business/asset valuations
  • Supporting the implementation of new TP policies, preparation of inter-company agreements, monitoring TP outcomes against policy
  • Contributing to and reviewing TP documentation, benchmarking and regulatory filings
  • Supporting transfer pricing audits and APAs
  • Driving process improvement initiatives in the transfer pricing operations and compliance processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent project management, organisational, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant professional qualification
  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Ability to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent project management, organisational, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills- Master's degree
  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
