Great Energy is a small and steadily growing Independent Power Producer (IPP) with its own custom designed fleet of diesel generators less than 3 years old, deployed solely to various Mining clients. We pride ourselves on providing the most fuel-efficient solutions to our clients.We are currently looking for a qualified Motor/Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Malaga.
Job duties- Perform generator servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Perform generator adjustments, including valve & injector settings.
- Diagnose engine alarms and faults and be familiar with diagnostic tools.
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies and other components and checking parts
- Re assembling engines after repairs
- Perform radiator inspections and regular cleaning.
- Perform remote field service work up to 5 days at a time.
- Extensive client liaison.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent workmanship.
- Qualified Motor/ Diesel Mechanic with Certificate III and Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanics or overseas equivalent
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Motor/Diesel Mechanic with 1 year as a service person.
- Valid WA driver's license.
- Must be able to pass routine dug & alcohol compliance testing.
