About the Role:We’re on the lookout for a full-time Retail Supervisor who’s passionate about retail and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. If you’re a natural leader with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude, we want you to take charge and help elevate our store operations to the next level.
Minimum Requirements:- AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support checkout and frontline retail staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Allocate tasks, manage rosters, and oversee shift schedules for optimal store coverage.Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and managing escalated situations.
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and cash handling procedures are followed, including end-of-day reconciliations.
Train new team members and conduct ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Monitor inventory levels at checkouts and across the store; place orders for supplies and stock as needed.
Maintain merchandising standards by ensuring products are correctly priced, labeled, and displayed.
Implement and monitor security measures to prevent theft and maintain customer safety.
Oversee the functionality of POS systems and coordinate with technicians for repairs or upgrades.
Enforce compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and privacy standards.
Serve as the communication link between store-level staff and senior management, relaying updates, feedback, and operational needs.
Key Skills and Attributes: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team.
Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.Experience in staff training, performance management, and team development.
Solid understanding of retail operations, stock control, and merchandising principles.
Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Competence in handling cash, EFTPOS transactions, and POS systems.
Knowledge of rostering and workforce planning.
High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and flexible with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
