As a sous chef in our establishment, you'll be working along side our very talented head chef and you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and culinary skills while working alongside a talented and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
As our sous chef, you will be responsible for joining in our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef and management team to create innovative menus that reflect seasonal availability, dietary preferences, and customer feedback.
Food Preparation: Engage in all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
Inventory and Ordering: Provide assistance with manage inventory levels, monitor ingredient freshness, and place orders to ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality ingredients.
Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
Kitchen Safety and Hygiene: Every chef has a duty to enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a sous chef with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Formal culinary education is preferred.
Creativity: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative and visually appealing menu items.Organization and Time Management: Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen, adjusting to changing priorities and customer demands.

Work Location: In person
