THE ROLE:Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, we currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our project team working on a large infrastructure project in remote WA. The scope of works includes the construction of complex concrete structures and associated civil works working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, WA.
As the Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:- Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
- Comprehensive understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget
- Create work programs for allocated work packages
- Manage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance
- Identify variations in work packages and submit list for review
- Ensure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements
- Ensure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements
- Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – A must
- At least 5 years post graduate experience working in a FIFO capacity as a Project Engineer on large infrastructure projects with a contractor – A must
- Large FRP Infrastructure experience with concrete structures – A must
- Experience with P6 Planning/ Scheduling tools
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
