Position Criteria:We are looking for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Painter to join Hidrive’s manufacturing team in Goulburn based workshop. As a vehicle painter, you will be responsible for painting and finishing a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories, ensuring that they leave our workshop looking flawless and pristine on the host vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and applying primer as required.
- Mix and match paints to achieve precise color accuracy, adhering to client or manufacturer specifications.
- Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
-Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring a professional and long-lasting finish.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment, maintaining them in excellent working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed for future reference.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
- Relevant trade qualifications: Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent (significant good experience in a similar role may substitute formal qualifications).
- Proven experience (2 years minimum) in automotive painting, including surface preparation and spray painting.
- Strong understanding of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to automotive painting.
- Prior experience with custom paintwork or decorative finishes is highly desirable.
