As we scale rapidly, we’re seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the charge on architecture, systems development, and technical team leadership across our fast-evolving product suite.
About the Role
The Engineering Manager is responsible for guiding the engineering function across multiple cross-functional product teams, including Zinga (Fintech), Alby Marketplace (E-commerce), and Goldroom (Media). You’ll lead the strategy and execution of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, while nurturing a team of full-stack developers, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate vision into scalable technology solutions
Own and evolve the tech stack, architecture, and engineering best practices
Oversee sprint planning, code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment
Develop system integration strategies across Zinga, Alby, Goldroom, and third-party services
Drive technical decisions and ensure alignment with long-term digital product goals
Manage technical debt, system upgrades, and performance optimization
Recruit and onboard new engineers and contribute to team culture
Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and platform stability standards
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
Strong proficiency in modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Python/Django, Laravel)
Experience designing and building scalable microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, CI/CD)
Strong understanding of data security, authentication, and integration protocols
Experience with e-commerce, fintech, or digital content platforms preferred
Exceptional communication, mentorship, and project management skills
Comfortable working in a hybrid, multi-disciplinary, and fast-moving environment
