The MARRICKVILLE RITZ is an off-beat, modern pub which is now the well-known local in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. Located on the busy Illawarra Road in the heart of Marrickville, the Ritz offers an eclectic mix of a contemporary bar with a relaxed pub dining experience and provides for all types of events and functions.
The Ritz has recently undergone a major refurbishment and renovation and is about to open a brand-new kitchen and dining experience, offering a great range of classic pub meals, renowned burgers and tasty contemporary mains.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the new kitchen team at the Marrickville Ritz. We are looking for trade-qualified candidates who have extensive experience working in high-volume kitchens and who have a passion for producing amazing food.
As a Chef at the Marrickville Ritz, you will be responsible for assisting with kitchen/section management, planning menus, ordering and stock-control, leading/training/supervising kitchen staff, ensuring WHS requirements are met and food safety compliance, ensuring the delivery of great food and service and assisting with overall kitchen management/operations.
Full-Time Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in these positions, you must have:
- relevant trade qualifications
- at least 3+ years experience as a Chef de Partie
- experience working in a similar venue
- experience with a variety of culinary techniques & cuisines
- experience working across various kitchen sections
- experience leading/managing a kitchen team
- excellent written & verbal communication skills
- cooperation skills
- a passion for food & innovation
- a commitment to producing an excellent product for customers
- exceptional time management & organisational skills
- knowledge of all WHS requirements & regulations
- a desire to progress & grow within the trade
