Accounting Advisory & Data Analytics Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Advisory & Data Analytics Manager
Responsibilities- Interpret and apply complex accounting guidance to serve clients’ accounting and reporting requirements
- Financial statement preparation (10Q, 10K) • Manipulate and analyze large, complex data sets from various sources to distill insights
- Design, build and automate dashboards
- Work and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute on project scope in an ambiguous environment
- Collaborate with data engineering/data science and other analytics team to establish auditable data models that serve the clients business needs
- Provide exceptional client service with the ability to meet project deadlines and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Take a leadership role in project management and execution (training & mentoring junior staff, project planning, owning technical areas of the project)
- BA/BS degree in an analytical field - Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science/Engineering
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- 5+ years of work experience
- Experience managing teams and projects

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starting, intellectually curious, and creative individual operating in ambiguity
- Strong excel experience (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, Go to Special functions, SUMIF, Mid/LEFT/RIGHT)
- Proficient knowledge of accounting and financial concepts / reporting, including ASC 606 (Revenue), ASC 718 (Share Compensation), Financial Reporting, SOX compliance, and forecasting
- Experience with ERP systems, (e.g., NetSuite, Quickbooks)
- Experience with Public Companies
- Experience with Carta
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query)
- Experience programming in SQL and Python • Experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
