Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Store/Retail/Counter Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets. Candidates should have proven leadership, coaching and business management skills gained in a fast paced retail environment.
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to be Chief Executive Officer of your own store. You will have total accountability for creating and executing an agile business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, exceptional customer relationship management and the leadership of a high performing team.

As one of our dynamic Retail Managers in a fast pace Airport environment, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing our high-performing team of Makeup Artists to continually exceed all client expectations and achieve all sales targets.This involves managing the Store while developing the talent and capabilities of your team to achieve optimal performance. Our Retail Managers are key to the success of our Brand - they are inspirational leaders who drive a high-touch experience to our customers every time.

- Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience preferably within cosmetics
- The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience of creating and executing in-store events
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficient in Microsoft office applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview
ABOUT YOU:
Skincare, beauty therapy or makeup artistry experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential. We believe with the right fundamental skills, confidence and commitment to learn, our internal training and development offerings can enhance your existing skills to our desired level.
- Previous counter management experience or experience working in a retail or customer service environment at a supervisory level - preferably in beauty or fashion
- A passion for leadership and team development. Business planning experience including developing plans to drive business, setting sales and/or customer service targets, sales analysis and optimising staffing levels
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing teams
- Experience in creating and executing in-store events
- Confidence in makeup and skincare application
- Using social media such as Instagram to drive business would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster covering airport training hours is essential including early mornings 4.30am and late nights 12pm
- Available to work public holidays
