About the Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst will primarily be responsible to elicit, capture and manage business requirements by working closely with various internal teams including, production team leaders, farm managers, warehouse and logistics team members, as well as external solution providers and other members of the IT team.Through fostering relationships and problem-solving, success will be identifying inefficiencies within the current business processes and proposing optimised solutions. This role will also play a key role in leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure that the delivered solutions meet the documented requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of business cases for initiatives requiring new or changed digital capabilities
- Elicit, capture and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Lead and support the UAT process ensuring that the delivered solution meets documented requirements
- Organise and lead workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement
- Support the management of project scope, helping to constrain scope creep and inform scope change
- Communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders to understand their perspectives and manage expectations
- Ensure alignment between SOPs and effective use of digital solutions
Exceptional documentation capabilities will be required to clearly communicate technical information in an easily understood manner. Ideally, experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems will support the knowledge necessary to navigate complex digital environments.
Previous exposure to horticulture and / or food production, or other similar processing, packing and distribution environments will be highly regarded.
