Management Accountant / Systems Accountant/3-M -Contract - Melbourne

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting a qualified (CPA/CA/CIMA) Management Accountant / Systems Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller in improving the useability and accuracy of their financial and accounting reports.

Initially a 3 month position, this is likely to be an ongoing role that could extend / lead to permanent.

The Role

Working within a professional and dedicated finance team your duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Recommendation of improvements to the organisation's accounting and financial reports
• Work closely with external systems provider to ensure timely improvements
• Take the finance lead on internal projects
• Monthly financial analysis
• Meeting with key stakeholders
• Departmental query resolution

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have worked within a large organisation partnering operational teams to deliver meaningful and insightful financial reports.

You will have strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to meet tight deadlines, and have an intermediate to advanced level of Excel.

Previous exposure to MS Dynamics will be an advantage.
