Sous Chef

We are advertising on behalf of our client, Terra Mare Bicton, an Italian style restaurant located at Bicton WA. They are looking for enthusiastic, skilled SOUS CHEF to join their team on a full-time basis.

• Assist the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and close.
• Take primary responsibility for all pizza station operations, including dough prep, topping, cooking, and presentation.
• Maintain consistency and quality of all kitchen offerings in line with venue standards.
• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff during service and prep.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are upheld at all times (HACCP compliant).
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimize waste through proper stock rotation.
• Step into the Head Chef role when required during days off or leave periods.
• Collaborate on new menu items, pizza specials, and seasonal changes.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained in safe working order.
• Communicate clearly with FOH and management to ensure smooth service.

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as rostered

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation
