About You
To be successful you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, or STEM fields and is passionate about making a real impact in the travel and tourism sector!
A proven track record in revenue management, pricing, or competitor intelligence and have a keen understanding of how to maximise profitability in a competitive space. Your strong commercial acumen is complemented by financial modelling capabilities, as well as being proficient to advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
You excel in data analysis and presentation, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform data-driven decision-making. Experience with Power BI is advantageous, and knowledge of the SQL BI stack is desirable.

About The Role
As the Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the General Manager, Monarto Safari Resort and Journey Beyond Group across all aspects of revenue including analysis, forecasting, yield management, and pricing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Pricing strategy review
- Establish pickup and channel targets to drive performance and accountability
- Manage Yield including on-going review of Dynamic Pricing models
- Financial Reporting
- Managing pricing and OTA’s
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to make informed pricing decisions.
- Development of Promotional Campaigns, including post-campaign analysis and review
- Manage Yield including on-going review of Dynamic Pricing models
- Analyse key performance metrics, including occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and average daily rate (ADR) (for hospitality)
- Wholesale group allocations
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and process improvements
Your working week will be primarily based at Journey Beyond’s Head Office on North Terrace, with time spent at Monarto Resort, Monarto.
Position is for 20 hours per week. This could suite school hours 9am – 3pm 4 days a week or could be worked over 2.5 days per week.
