About The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the entire shipping process, from relationships with overseas suppliers to managing a stock forecasting system, always ensuring the availability of stock.

Working closely with our Finance Team, you will be accountable for the company stock, ensuring all products pricing is accurate and up to date.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the entire shipping process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Overseeing daily shipping and distribution operations.
  • Working closely with internal teams, such as Operations, Warehouse and Administration to ensure smooth shipping operations.
  • Monitoring and tracking shipments, resolving any issues or delays, and communicating updates to relevant departments.
  • Working closely with Freight Forwarders ensuring a DIFOT system (Delivery in Full on Time).
  • Coordinating routine stock takes and checking off incoming containers ensuring product accuracy.
  • Management of external supplier warranty claims.
  • Utilising computer forecasting to ensure stock is available when required.

Requirements/Skillset

To be successful in this role you will need previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and management of overseas suppliers. Experience in a similar industry is preferred.

To secure this position you will need previous experience in Shipping/Procurement/Supply Chain Management or related field. You will need to have strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities together with a can-do attitude and be a team player.
